Supporting Fertility & Preconception

Infertility now affects 1 in 7 couples (3.5m in the UK). Although much of the blame is placed on women, the reality is that more than half of all cases of infertility may be related to male factors. Despite the rise in infertility, the good news is that numerous studies demonstrate a number of key nutrients can directly impact both female and male fertility.  This seminar will address the possible factors involved in infertility and the key nutrients to consider for both male and female fertility. It will also discuss the key nutrients and supplements to consider during pregnancy.

Learning Outcomes

A greater understanding of male fertility
Key nutrients to support sperm health
Female fertility and subclinical considerations
Egg health and the role of key nutrients
Preconceptual health and key dietary considerations and nutrients
