Biomedical Practitioner Job Description:
We are looking for experienced Registered Nutritional Therapists to join our team of specialists, full-time.
The Key Clinic was founded to help children fully unlock their potential and transform their lives. We have since gained National acclaim due to word of mouth and passionate testimonials from our clients. Our work has since expanded to also include adults.
The Clinic’s approach is multi-disciplinary and evidence-based, targeting the root causes of a wide range of learning, behavioural and mental health problems.
Job Summary
→ Employee, full-time contract (4-5 days per week) → Role is fully remote
→ Rate on enquiry, depending on experience level
Our multi-disciplinary team has a wide variety of skills and expertise and our practitioners work collaboratively assessing and targeting the root causes of symptoms.
The Biomedical team assess clients, suing questionnaires, consultations (remote) and lab testing. As a team, we then design a fully individualised Biomedical healthcare plan, to optimise functioning and restore a healthy balance. This incorporates nutritional/lifestyle recommendations and targeting Walsh Nutrient Therapy protocols.
Our team of practitioners are supervised by a GMC licensed, Paediatric GP who is also trained in Functional medicine. You will have clinical support with your cases in weekly team meetings, and supervisory slots. We also provide Walsh Institute training materials and supervision for all practitioners, to upskill you in the cutting edge approach to brain health that underpins some of our work: https://www.walshinstitute.org
What the role includes:
- Carrying out full range of practitioner duties (we will train you in each of these)
- Consultations
- Assessments/lab testing recommendations, support and interpretation
- Written reports
- Overseeing biomedical programmes, conducting reviews
- Ongoing and regular evaluation of the client’s progress with support from senior practitioners.
- Maintains accurate written records regarding any programmes, follow ups or communications with patients/guardians.
- A 3 month probationary period applies to this post.

Required Qualifications/Experience
- Nutrition BSc/Nutritional Therapy Diploma (Bonus if also has IFM Certification)
- Minimum of 2 year of Clinical Practice
- Functional testing must be part of your clinical approach – candidate will be familiarwith comprehensive stool tests, adrenal cortisol panels, urinary hormone analysis egDUTCH test
- Ideal, but not essential: Epilepsy nutritional training.
