Why a Book Club?

We all love learning and reading is great way to continue the CPD!

Here is why we love reading as one of our favourite forms of learning:

  • More Engagement: Sharpen your critical thinking skills by engaging with a book and calming that butterfly mind with concentration on understanding the concepts presented.
  • Paced Learning: You can control the pace, take your time to re-read, annotate, and reflect on the content. This flexibility helps solidify knowledge and allows for a more personalized learning experience.
  • Enhanced Retention: Studies have shown that reading can lead to better retention of information. The process of decoding text and forming mental images helps embed the material more firmly in memory.
  • Access to Diverse Perspectives: Books and articles often provide comprehensive and well-researched content, exposing you to a range of viewpoints and in-depth analysis that may not be covered in the typically time-constrained format of a webinar.
  • Skill Development: Regular reading improves cognitive skills such as vocabulary, comprehension, and critical analysis. It also enhances the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources, which is crucial for informed decision-making in practice.

A new way to grow your expertise and make friends with fellow practitioners with our book club!
