Nutritional Therapist (Part-Time, 2–3 Days Per Week)

About Samté
Samté is an early-stage gut health company developing innovative products inspired by fermentation, postbiotic science and digestive wellbeing. We are looking for an experienced nutrition professional to help shape the scientific and educational voice of the brand as we prepare for launch.
The Role
You will work closely with the founders across customer education, content creation, practitioner engagement and scientific communications. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys translating nutrition science into clear, engaging and accessible information.
Key Responsibilities
- Create evidence-based content for websites, emails, social media and educational materials.
- Respond to customer nutrition-related enquiries.
- Support practitioner engagement and education initiatives.
- Review content for scientific accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor and summarise emerging research in gut health, the microbiome and postbiotics.
- Support future product development and research projects.
- Represent the brand in webinars, podcasts, events and other educational opportunities where appropriate.
- About You Essential
- Qualified Nutritional Therapist or Registered Dietitian.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a nutrition-related role.
- Experience working directly with clients or patients.
- Strong knowledge of gut health, digestion and the microbiome.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate complex science in a simple and engaging way.
- Comfortable working independently within a fast-moving start-up environment.
- Desirable
- Experience in gut health, functional nutrition or digestive health.
- Experience creating consumer-facing content.
- Understanding of UK nutrition and health claims regulations.
- Experience presenting, teaching or speaking publicly.
- Existing practitioner network.
