Hormone balancing with nutraceuticals – with a special focus on Endometriosis
Dublin In Person Event – 27th March 2024
Lucy will be taking you through considerations when working with clients who come to you with hormone imbalances. We will look at what might be at the root of these issues, briefly covering:
- Taking your case study: what you can learn about the health of your client’s hormone cycle without testing
- The stress connection: how does life stress impact the menstrual cycle
- Empowering our clients: how to support the body’s organs and systems with diet, lifestyle and nutraceuticals
- Managing complex cases: there will be a special focus on endometriosis and considerations for pain and symptom management of this complex condition
About the Presenter – Lucy Peel, MSc. UK/EU Practitioner Support for BioMedica
Lucy has a BSc degree in Naturopathy from the University of Westminster and has a Masters degree in Nutritional Therapy from Worcester University. She is also a Reiki level 2 practitioner and has completed her Ashtanga yoga teacher training, both of which she incorporates into her naturopathic practice.
Her approach in practice is very holistic, exploring the mental/emotional, physical and biochemical aspects of a person and how this will be affecting their health. Her treatment plans are based on this holistic approach and she really enjoys working with her patients to encourage them to make the changes that are achievable for them.
Lucy also works as the UK National Practitioner Consultant for BioMedica Nutraceuticals. BioMedica are an Australian company and have created a “practitioner prescribed only” product range of natural medicines. Her role involves product training, case support and providing webinars for CPD training for nutritional therapists, naturopaths, functional medicine practitioners, doctors, dentists, osteopaths and other healthcare practitioners.
