Mobile Phone Remedy

 14.40

In 2024, Suzy Cain gave a talk at the first Homeopathic Collective meeting on the use of Mobile Phone in potency, after being reminded of the remedy while attending a course on modern-day anxiety earlier that year. Since then, she has continued to explore its use in practice, with encouraging results in several cases, including long-Covid and neurological conditions.

This talk will explore the emerging remedy picture of Mobile Phone, its themes of nervous system overload, fragmentation, and how it reflects the lived experience of many patients today also comparing its state with familiar polycrests such as Carcinosin, Staphysagria, Thuja and Tuberculinum.

Suzy will discuss how Mobile Phone can be used alongside constitutional prescribing, particularly as an intercurrent, to help clear interference and support the vital force in an age of constant digital exposure. This practical, clinically focused session will include case examples and prescribing insights relevant to modern homeopathic practice.

Description

Suzy Cain trained at the London College of Practical Homeopathy under Robert Davidson and has been in practice since 2001. Before becoming a homeopath, she worked in the fashion industry, travelling widely and working with people around the world. This experience sharpened her powers of observation and deepened her interest in people and their individual stories—something that continues to inform her approach to homeopathy today.

In 2024, Suzy founded the Homeopathic Collective, bringing homeopaths together in person to share ideas, learn from one another, and build a supportive community. Her inspiration came after being introduced to the remedy Mobile Phone in potency and realising how relevant it is to modern life, yet how little it was being discussed. Wanting to make emerging remedies and practical clinical insights more accessible, she created the Homeopathic Collective as a place for knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm for homeopathy to be shared.

Suzy has a particular interest in modern remedy states and how homeopathy continues to evolve in response to contemporary life. Her work focuses on supporting patients gently and individually, while helping practitioners feel more confident in recognising and prescribing for the patterns they see in clinic today.
