Bringing together experienced practitioners from across naturopathic disciplines, Practitioner Perspectives offers both practical tools and clinical insight to help you read the body with greater precision, think more clearly, and act with confidence.

A Day of Insight and Application
The day combines three expert-led talks on unravelling complex cases with a hands-on workshop focused on real-world clinical skills.

Through the morning sessions, you’ll explore how experienced clinicians, including Debbie Cotton (The Natural Dispensary) and Emma Mihill (Inessa Wellness) approach complexity – how they identify key patterns, avoid common pitfalls, and make confident decisions even in challenging cases.

In the practical workshop, you’ll then learn how to read the clinical clues that the body reveals to understand exactly where support is needed…

How to Read the Body & Solve Complex Cases 

A Practical Hands-On Workshop with Dr Chris Chlebowski, Sonia O’Donnell & Virginia Blake 

Most practitioners are trained within a single discipline, whether that’s nutritional therapy, homeopathy, herbal medicine, or something else. Each teaches valuable ways of understanding the body, but each also has its own way of observing, questioning and assessing a client. 

What happens when you bring those different ways of thinking together? We create a method for solving complex cases, refined through years of clinical experience and often shaped by the different disciplines we’ve added to our tool boxes. 

Join us and learn an integrated method that combines the observational skills of a Chiropractor, the systems thinking of a Nutritional Therapist and the detailed case taking of a Homeopath into one practical clinical framework.

• In session practical assessment techniques that complement the modality you already practise, whether you work online or in person. 

• A comprehensive workbook you’ll use as a clinical reference long after the workshop. 

• Greater confidence in recognising patterns, prioritising treatment and making clear, evidence-informed clinical decisions in all cases including chronic and complex clients/ patients.  

A Practical Framework You Can Apply Immediately 

Throughout the afternoon we’ll show you how we apply this method in a consultation, from the first observations to a clear clinical direction. 

Every delegate will receive a comprehensive workbook, organised by body system, that follows the same process we use ourselves. 

For every system you’ll explore: 

LOOK – What observable clues are worth paying attention to? 

ASK – Which questions help uncover the underlying picture? 

TEST – Which simple naturopathic observations and hands-on assessments can strengthen your clinical reasoning? 

THINK – How do you interpret those findings, recognise patterns, and decide what to investigate or support first? 

Throughout the afternoon we’ll continually move between these four stages, demonstrating how a single observation leads to a question, how that question suggests an assessment, and how each new piece of information refines your clinical reasoning.
 

Whether you’re looking at posture, jaw function, checking pH, or learning to ask better questions, you’ll begin to appreciate how each clue contributes to the bigger clinical picture rather than being viewed in isolation. 

Learn by Seeing, Doing and Discussing 

This isn’t a lecture. 

Working in groups, you’ll practise the techniques yourself, compare your observations with other practitioners and discuss what they might mean. We’lldemonstrate how we approach real clinical scenarios, explain why we ask particular questions, why we perform certain assessments and how each finding influences our thinking.

This workshop isn’t about memorising lists of signs and symptoms. 

It’s about learning to look at your clients through a different lens. 

You’ll discover how structural findings influence biochemical function, how energetic patterns often complement physical observations, and how combining these different perspectives can give you a much richer understanding of what’s driving a case.
