Description
The oral & GI microbiome and women’s health: A bidirectional relationship
Dublin Ireland In Person Event – 6th March 2024
Due to physiological and hormonal changes, the microbiome varies during the different stages of life, including pregnancy and menopause.
Pregnancy can increase susceptibility to various oral diseases such as gingivitis and there is a growing body of evidence supporting the link between dysbiosis in the oral microbiome contributing to pregnancy complications.
In this presentation, we will explore the dynamics of the microbiome during this life stage and discuss evidence-based live bacteria strains as key strategies to support healthy pregnancy outcomes.
