Who Do You Think You are? Nutrigenomics and Nervous System Diversity
What forms the human mind, and so our inner experience of the world around us, including how we focus, think and feel? While we are hugely influenced by upbringing, experiences and relationship, how much of our core mental functioning and behaviour could be hard wired from the outset, explaining individual differences in mood, motivation, concentration, even sociability and connectedness? Chris Newbold from Lifecode Gx explores the interaction between genetics and mental health, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, stress response and addiction, and identifies key personalised nutrition and lifestyle support strategies.
About the Speaker: Chris is an experienced nutritional therapist and lecturer who worked in the NHS for 12 years before retraining in nutritional therapy. He has been teaching, practising or advising practitioners on their complex clinical caseloads for 18 years. Passionate about integrating complex science, including nutrigenomics, into practical clinical protocols, Chris now leads the education programme for Lifecode Gx, the leading professional genetic testing company.
