Shop Assistant

A busy health shop with a large herbal pharmacy looking for a professional with good knowledge of natural medicine (nutrition, herbalism, naturopathy etc.) to join our team of experts. Someone who has worked in a health shop environment before is best suited.

As a family run business, we are very proud of our reputation built through outstanding expert advice and customer care. Therefore, expectations on standards are high and our staff members are valued. Someone who is hard working and would take pride in an opportunity to learn, develop professional expertise and build experience would be best suited. Someone with the ability to work without supervision and at their own initiative is required.

Looking for someone who is confident and experienced in the use of supplements. Must be computer literate. Duties will include giving advice, stock control, unpacking orders, stocking up, general cleaning, till work, making appointments for therapists etc. Vacancy is complemented with staff discounts, free seminars and in-house training.

Unfortunately, there will be no opportunity to work in the clinic at Health Matters as we have therapists already. It will not be possible to take patients from the shop floor for your private clinic. Your private clinic and your work at Health Matters should be kept separate.

Days required are Saturdays (full day) and Thursday (half day).
